Issue Position: Health Care Reform

Issue Position

Date: Jan. 1, 2012

Our current health care system is fatally flawed. Many Americans have no health insurance and poor access to health care. Most people who have insurance pay premiums so high they cannot afford much of anything else. Our pharmaceutical companies get super rich, and our small town doctors cant make a living because of outrageous malpractice insurance prices. Yet the current administrations solution to all this is to force every American to have mandatory health insurance, and they think somehow that will make it all better. I'm here to tell you its not going to get better just because everyone's doing it! We need AFFORDABLE health care or nothing is going to change. We somehow need to cut the greed out of our health care system. By making health insurance mandatory we are rewarding the greedy health insurance industry. For this reason we need to start by repealing ObamaCare, and making insurance companies compete for our business like every other free enterprise in America.
